MRS. ERICA MOTLEY

Mrs. Erica is a community leader, advocate for children and a natural - born caregiver. She is dependable, has a huge passion for community work, giving back and she is faithful. She knows from personal experience that time is valuable and gifting it can make a world of difference in the lives of others.

Erica Motley was born and raised in Greensboro, NC. She has always had leadership traits and an eye for creativity. During her early childhood years she worked along side her mother, who was a business owner and you could always catch her building or playing with tools with her father, who was a welder. Mrs. Erica’s passion for caregiving and leadership started at a young age when she cared for her mom. When Mrs. Erica was 12yrs old her mom passed away at the age of 37. Her father, whom she cared for as well, passed away in 2008. Mrs. Erica is grateful for her grandmother who kept her involved in church which gave her a space to learn about prayer, guidance, and strength. She is also very thankful for her family, friends, and the community that poured into her especially during her middle and high school years.

With the continued support from her friends, family, the community and her husband she has been able to continue to lead by example through Create Me. She is full of energy and constantly thinking of programs for the community that promotes positive exposure and growth. She volunteers and helps out within the community, where she is able to grow as a person which positively impacts her life as well.

In, 2015 Mrs.Erica was awarded the President’s Council Community Leadership Award.
